Our services provide free attire and resources to individuals in need, helping them feel empowered and prepared for success.
Free Prom Attire
Prom should be a night to remember—not a financial burden. Our Free Prom Gown Giveaway ensures that high school students have access to beautiful gowns, tuxedos, shoes, and accessories at no cost. Through generous donations and community support, we make sure that every student can enjoy their special night with confidence.
Career Closet: Free Interview & Work Attire
Dressing for success starts with having the right outfit. Our Career Closet provides job seekers with free professional attire, including blazers, suits, dress shirts, slacks, skirts, and shoes, to help them make a great first impression. Whether for an interview or the first day on the job, we ensure individuals have the clothing they need to step into new opportunities.
Interview & Etiquette Training
Beyond clothing, we equip individuals with the skills they need to succeed in professional and social settings.
Our Interview & Etiquette Training covers:
· Dressing professionally for interviews and the workplace
· Resume building and interview preparation
· Confidence and communication skills
· Workplace etiquette and professionalism
Our Impact
At YDB’s Closet, we measure our impact not just in the number of gowns and suits we provide, but in the confidence, opportunities, and empowerment we bring to individuals in need. - Expanding beyond prom attire, we are launching the Career Closet in 2025, ensuring job seekers have access to interview attire, career coaching, and etiquette training.
Looking Ahead: Expanding Our Reach
In 2025, we plan to:
· Host statewide prom gown giveaways, serving 200-300 students across Delaware.
· Launch the Career Closet to provide free interview attire and job readiness resources.
· Introduce etiquette training workshops to equip students and job seekers with professional skills.
· Grow our volunteer and donor network to serve even more individuals in need.
