Named after our founder Deneice Berry’s initials, YDB, this nonprofit was born out of a deep commitment to providing free attire and essential resources to help individuals step confidently into their future—whether for a magical prom night or a career-defining interview.

What started as a small initiative to host a single prom gown giveaway quickly grew into a community-driven movement, allowing us to expand our reach and impact. Today, YDB’s Closet not only provides formalwear for students but also supports job seekers with professional attire and interview preparation. Through community partnerships, donations, and volunteer efforts, we are breaking financial barriers and creating opportunities for empowerment, growth, and success.
